The Pains Wessex Para Red MK8A Rocket conforms to SOLAS 74/88 as amended. Designed to withstand exceptional environmental exposure and to perform reliably even after immersion in water, the pull wire ignitor and improved grip provides easy handling. Ejecting a red flare on a parachute at 300m (1000ft), burning for 40 seconds at 30,000 candela. Signature is required upon delivery.

Excellent quality flares with very recent manufacture date

These are high quality flares. You have to be careful when purchasing as they are only valid for 42 months from the DATE OF MANUFACTURE. These were manufactured within 3 months of the date I received them, which is quite good. Be careful if you buy anything from retail outlets as their stock can be a year or more old. Highly recommend Life Raft Professionals for buying your SOLAS gear. High quality at a competitive price.
